Okay, I’m still working on this website. I’m in the midst of figuring out a few things… I think I will abandon the forum for another one. And so if you tried to sign up on the other forum … um, I got tired of wading through spam.
What I plan to do which will be time consuming is moving the transcripts to the new forum. But since you know I work at a snail’s pace it will take a while.
It’s amazing how 
much spammers love to try and inundate websites. I must have have at least a good 200 or so obvious spammers at the forum and a few comments that were spam here. Almost makes you not want to bother maintaining a web site. But maintain it I will. There is still plenty of stuff I need to do (like getting the transcripts search to work again… I may have to learn some quick and dirty php to get it working again).
But for all you spammers out there just remember I’m only crushing your head. CRUSH! CRUSH! CRUSH!
Ah, sorry about that. I thought I had registration turned on, but apparently it was disabled. I was wondering why there hadn’t been anyone trying to register. Same rules apply. You register and I approve.
Oh yeah… this is a wordpress site and I don’t have a Contact Us link. I’m not a corporation. If you have something to say you are free to post a comment. I’ll see the comment. If you are a spammer it’s deleted. The last thing I really want to be hassled by spammers.
I have spent the day trying to move old members and messages from my old forum to 
the new one. All I managed to do for my efforts is break the forum database multiple times. I’m surprised I didn’t get a nasty e-mail from my service provider wondering why I was killing this poor board. Repeatedly.
I’ve left it with a basically blank board. If you were a regular poster there (you will see menu above, entitled Kithfan Forum.
To prevent spammers from getting on the list when you register you’ll have to wait for me to approve you. Sorry about that. But in the past, I had closed registrations altogether because of spammers and jerks posting porn on the site. So to save me grief, please don’t spam or porn me.
If I am willing to accept it….
I have the new forum loaded (but I will try and use my backup of my old forum) and see if they will talk to each other. If not, everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) would have to sign up again with the new forum. I’m going to see if I can prevent that from happening.
Okay so it probably WON’T be today… got USA v. Belgium to watch.
Yes, I’ve been running this site for a while. And I hadn’t done much to it, mainly because I was running this on an old server. When I tried to update it laughed and said, “no go.” So I had to move the files to a new server. The good news? It all got moved… The bad news? Some of it is broken.
